Planning a Visit to Mt Joy Baptist Church

We know that meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating.  Going to a new church for the first time can be challenging.
We want to help make your first experience at Mt Joy a great one!


Mt Joy Baptist Church meets several times each week.   These meeings are designed to instruct believers in Christ about godly living, and to involve our church family in the work of the ministry, and the edifying of the body of Christ.   Those who are curious about the Christian faith are always welcome.

We meet at 21141 Scott Park Road, Davenport, Iowa (Just east of the Mount Joy exit on Hwy 61).


Sunday School for all ages - 10:00 am

Sunday Morning Worship - 11:00 am

Sunday Evening Bible Study - 6:00 pm

Wednesday Evening Prayer/Bible Study - 7:00 pm


At Mt Joy our services are approximately 1 hour in length. We begin by engaging the congregation in worship through the songs of the faith. Following the music, our Pastor will share a message from God's Word.   We sing traditional hymns and choruses and use the King James Bible.


Please be patient, as we are re-starting children's Sunday School.   If your children would be more comfortable staying with you, they are welcome to do so.
