At our church, you will hear three words repeatedly because they are the words that provide in a nutshell what Crossroads is all about. The three words are introduce, instruct, and involve. We believe that they represent the whole of the great commission and in simple terms define the life of the believer in Christ. We should always be looking for the opportunity to introduce those living in darkness to the light of glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. Once those without Christ come to him in repentance and faith, we believe that it is our responsibility and privilege to instruct them in the life believers are instructed to live. In the end our goal is to produce mature believers who will become involved in the work of the ministry and the edification of the body of Christ.
The Apostle Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:11-12 "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:"
Crossroads exists to fulfill that ministry for God's glory!
